Coordinating Structure
At its session held on 21 October 2024, the Government adopted a Decision establishing the Coordinating Body for the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession process.
In line with the Decision, the coordinating structure includes:
2. The Coordinating Body Council;
4. The Negotiation Support Team.
The Coordinating Body for the Republic of Serbia’s European Union accession process considers the most important issues and coordinates tasks from the scope of work of the public administration bodies in the process of the Republic of Serbia’s European Union accession.
The Government has also defined the participation of the Republic of Serbia’s representatives in the Coordinating Body Council in greater detail. The Council handles ongoing matters related to the accession process, considering the coordination of monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the Republic of Serbia Reform Agenda 2024–2027, adopted on 3 October 2024, in line with the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. In this regard, considering the main areas of the Reform Agenda, the key reforms relate to: business environment and private sector development, green and digital transition, human capital and fundamentals.
This established structure, with its clearly defined tasks and relationships among working bodies, aims to enhance the coordination of the implementation of the reform process in key sectors for the European Union accession process.
