Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović met today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Serbia, Edward Ferguson, to discuss Serbia’s European integration process, regional cooperation, and current issues of importance for the stability of the Western Balkans.
Minister Starović also briefed Ambassador Ferguson on the pressures to which Serbs are exposed in Kosovo and Metohija.
Particular attention was devoted to the Berlin Process, which represents a significant framework for strengthening cooperation, economic connectivity, and the European perspective of the six Western Balkan partners, with the United Kingdom also participating in the Process.
The meeting underscored the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the context of supporting the acceleration of Serbia’s EU accession process and strengthening regional initiatives.
