Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović met today with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Serbia, Anke Konrad, with whom he discussed Serbia's European integration process, overall bilateral cooperation, as well as the importance of German development support to our country.
Minister Starović emphasized that Germany, as one of the most significant bilateral donors and development partners for Serbia, provides continuous support to reform processes, the strengthening of institutional capacities, the advancement of the rule of law, environmental protection and sustainable economic development. He expressed his gratitude for the cooperation achieved so far, and stressed that German development aid has made a significant contribution to the modernisation of Serbia and its progress on the path towards membership in the European Union.
Both sides confirmed their mutual commitment to further enhancing their partnership and continuing to cooperate in areas of shared interest.
