Today, Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović met with a delegation from the Belgian Federal Parliament, led by Katrijn Van Riet, Member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on Serbia's accession to the European Union, bilateral relations between the two countries, and the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation for the European integration process and the EU enlargement policy.
Minister Starović and the members of the Belgian delegation discussed the importance of continuing political dialogue and cooperation with the aim of advancing Serbia's European path and aligning the country with European standards.
The delegation of the Belgian Federal Parliament also included Koen Van den Heuvel, Member of the Chamber of Representatives, Senator Johan Deckmyn, and Tom De Geeter, Secretary of the delegation. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Belgium to the Republic of Serbia, Frederik Johan R. Develter.
