Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović participated today in Luxembourg at a ministerial meeting on the eve of the EU General Affairs Council, dedicated to the “European Democracy Shield” initiative. Starović stressed Serbia’s readiness to participate in programmes that improve capacities in the field of cybersecurity and increase the level of media and digital literacy of the population.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Starović met with several ministers for European affairs of the EU Member States, who, without exception, praised Serbia’s noticeable momentum in the reform processes that have been taking place in our country in the past months.“With the full implementation of the recommendations of the Venice Commission and ODIHR, which we are devotedly pursuing, an opening is created for the final establishment of a political consensus among the Member States, which would enable us to make significant progress in the European Union accession process,” emphasised the Serbian Minister of European Integration.
