The 10th IPA Monitoring Committee meeting, bringing together representatives of the Republic of Serbia, the EU Delegation to Serbia, the European Commission, and other relevant institutions, was held in Belgrade on 4 June 2026. Participants reviewed the progress achieved in the implementation of European Union pre-accession assistance in Serbia.
During the meeting, an overview of the current state of play in the functioning of the IPA management and control system was presented, with particular focus on administrative capacities and the long-term sustainability of projects and results supported by European Union funds. Participants also discussed the implementation status of IPA II and IPA III programmes, including progress in contracting, payments, public procurement procedures, and project implementation, as well as measures aimed at mitigating the risk of decommitment of available funds.
Special attention was devoted to the implementation of the IPARD III programme, Sector Budget Support programmes, Cross-Border Cooperation programmes, and the results achieved in key areas supported by the European Union. Participants also reviewed activities aimed at enhancing the visibility of results financed through IPA funds, with the objective of better informing citizens about the tangible benefits stemming from EU support.
