Serbian Partners in 28 Projects from the Third Call of the Interreg Europe Programme

Under the third call for project proposals within the Interreg Europe Programme, which was open from 20 March to 7 June 2024, a total of 113 project proposals were conditionally approved. Among the approved projects, 28 proposals include the participation of 31 partners from the Republic of Serbia. Most of the partners are representatives of cities, municipalities, regional development agencies, and other public institutions that have been given the opportunity to exchange experiences in development policies with colleagues across Europe over the next four years.

Since no further calls for project proposals are planned for this programming period, interested institutions will henceforth be able to utilise the opportunities provided by the programme’s Policy Learning Platform: https://www.interregeurope.eu/policy-learning-platform. This platform offers opportunities for networking with partners across Europe and provides valuable information on good practices in various fields. Through the platform, you can obtain policy improvement advice via expert reviews and direct consultations with experts.

The Ministry of European Integration will organise an Info Day on the Policy Learning Platform at the beginning of 2025. Details about the event will be published on our website under the “News” section. If you require more details about the Programme, please contact us via email:  jelena.djorgovic@mei.gov.rs; ivana.davidovic@mei.gov.rs.

The Interreg Europe programme supports the exchange of experiences within the framework of the EU Cohesion Policy goals: a smarter Europe, a greener Europe, a more connected Europe, a more social Europe, a Europe closer to citizens and better management on a regional level. Beneficiaries of the Programme can be public administration bodies as well as organisations relevant to regional development policies (development agencies, chambers of commerce, universities, NGOs, etc.). The Programme focuses on identifying good practices and exchanging experiences at the pan-European level to improve regional development policies.

More detailed information, including the list of projects approved for funding under the third call, is available on the official programme website:
