The Division for Control of Projects Financed from Programmes of European Territorial Cooperation with EU Members performs tasks related to the following: office and field controls, including control of public procurement, project visibility and horizontal principles, in accordance with domestic and EU regulations and standards; issuance of a certificate on validity of expenses; preparation and improvement of relevant national procedures and programming documents; reporting suspected irregularities to the competent state body; cooperation with relevant state administration bodies and other bodies at the level of individual programmes; organising the training of users from the Republic of Serbia in relation to the rules of reporting and acceptability of expenses; participation in the implementation of technical assistance projects; preparation of reports; keeping records of conducted controls; administration of irregularities; ensuring the establishment and operation of the Committee for Irregularities; maintaining a register of irregularities, providing support in the prevention, detection and reporting of irregularities in accordance with the procedures of the programme in shared management; participation in processes related to the professional training of civil servants in the Division, as well as other jobs in this area.
For the purpose of performing the tasks falling within the scope of the Division for Control of Projects Financed from Programmes of European Territorial Cooperation with EU Members performs tasks related to the following:
1. Group for Project Control within Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes with Hungary and Croatia;
2. Group for Project Control within Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes with Romania and Bulgaria;
3. Group for Project Control within the Danube Transnational Cooperation Programme and the Interregional Cooperation Programme;
4. Group for Project Control within the Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Cooperation Programme and the Interregional Cooperation Programme and
5. Group for Administering Irregularities.
